Survey Results Point to Strong Showing at
AAPEX 2021
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – May 26, 2021 – Results of a recent global survey of AAPEX attendees show optimism and a high positive sentiment for the return to in-person events with 86% indicating they are highly to extremely likely to return for a live experience this year. The survey was conducted in April by Freeman, a global leader in events, as part of its event research report.
AAPEX is scheduled to return to the Sands Expo and Caesars Forum Conference Center in Las Vegas, Tuesday, Nov. 2 through Thursday, Nov. 4, when the automotive aftermarket will reunite and reconnect in person after a missed year.
Survey results show that 75% of attendees are either already vaccinated or plan to be vaccinated, boosting comfort and confidence in a return to in-person events. After they receive the vaccine, 88% will be ready to return to in-person events.
In addition, 90% indicate in-person events are “irreplaceable” noting the show floor and networking are most important. Attendees are excited to test and compare the latest offerings in person, with 55% indicating they prefer the ability to evaluate products at the event.
Of those surveyed, 89% are the key decision maker or have significant influence on getting attendance approved for events. For additional survey results, visit the attendee and exhibitor infographics.
