How to Educate Consumers on Advanced Vehicle Technologies

Consumers, both DIFM and DIY, increasingly are facing new decisions about maintaining their vehicles. Electric vehicles require special handling to ensure high-voltage systems do not cause harm and routine driving events can render ADAS systems ineffective. There also is pending legislation on consumer-centric data privacy. During the next AAPEX Online Education free webinar on Sept. 26, from Noon to 1 p.m. ET,  industry experts will discuss how the industry, repair businesses and counter people should educate the ultimate customer on advanced technologies. Jim Fish, Head of Advanced Technology, Opus IVS, will moderate the discussion with panelists Dirk Fuchs, CEO & Founder, Electric Mobility Consulting and Ryan Kooiman, Director of Training, Standard Motor Products. Sign up today to attend “Consumers and Advanced Vehicle Technologies.”

Tips for Solving Employee Issues

Kathleen Long, CRO, RepairPal, led the most recent AAPEX Online Education webinar, tackling a challenging industry topic, The Next Generation of Aftermarket Employees. Long said, "Overall stats from every industry show that largely, employees don't leave jobs, they leave managers and toxic cultures." She then provided suggestions on how to fix over 85% of employee issues. To learn more, watch the webinar in its entirety below.
