LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Oct. 16, 2024 – AAPEX continues its commitment to attract the best talent to the industry with this year’s Student Program focused on reaching instructors and student groups from automotive aftermarket programs across the country. Aftermarket companies also have an opportunity to participate in the Student Program through sponsorships.
AAPEX unites the more than $2.3 billion global automotive aftermarket and presents an unmatched opportunity for students to immerse themselves in everything related to the industry, including identifying potential careers and employers. Students can walk the show floor to see the latest product innovations from 2,500+ exhibiting companies, connect with all industry segments, participate in education on new vehicle technologies and experience product demos in the fully-equipped 10-bay shop on the show floor.
The program includes an option for instructors to bring student groups and receive complimentary registration for up to 15 students and access to all AAPEX training and general education sessions, as well as hosted functions. For more information on becoming an approved school, visit the Student Program Instructor Application.
Aftermarket companies interested in sponsoring the Student Program should visit the Student Program Aftermarket Opportunities. This option helps drive more students to the event and shape the careers of young adults, while working together to attract motivated and qualified new talent to the industry.
As part of the program, TechForce Foundation will bring 100+ aspiring technician students from across Nevada high schools and technical community college programs to AAPEX on Wednesday, Nov. 6. These students have a passion for cars, engines and making things go and will enjoy AAPEX as a way to be inspired about the career opportunities available in the industry. AAPEX also will offer student tours on Monday, Nov. 4 prior to the start of this year’s event.
In addition to the Student Program, AAPEX offers aftermarket companies the option to Sponsor A Tech and be involved with attracting top talent to the event. For information, contact Ryan Glasgow, AAPEX Event Management.
Companies that participate in either program will receive recognition at AAPEX for their commitment to bringing new talent to the automotive aftermarket, as well as their dedication to retention and education.
AAPEX 2024 will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Thursday, Nov. 7, at The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. To sign up, visit Attendee Registration.
