LAS VEGAS, Nev. – April 20, 2023 – AAPEX is accepting nominations for its annual Service and Repair Awards that honor industry professionals who perform above and beyond and demonstrate a commitment to training, as well as local, community, charitable and industry involvement.

The three prestigious awards are: Shop Owner of the Year, Service Advisor of the Year and Technician of the Year. Nominations are due by Thursday, Aug. 31, and may be completed online at AAPEX Service and Repair Awards. For questions, contact: education@autocare.org.

An independent panel of shop owners will judge the nominations. Award recipients will be recognized and honored during the AAPEX 2023 Keynote Session, Tuesday, Oct. 31, in Las Vegas.

The AAPEX Service and Repair Awards were established in 2020 to recognize and elevate the essential services provided by shop owners, service advisors and technicians to keep the motoring public on the road, even during challenging times.

In 2022, AAPEX awarded Shop Owner of the Year to Kristi Hudson, Donnie Hudson and Frank Hudson, Troy Auto Care, Troy, Michigan. The Service Advisor of the Year award went to Ray Christensen, J&L Automotive, Alpine, Utah, while the Technician of the Year was awarded to Brandon Sadler, Shop Foreman, American Pride Automotive, Williamsburg, Virginia.
