LAS VEGAS, Nev. – July 9, 2024 – Nominations are open for the prestigious AAPEX Service and Repair Awards that annually honor a shop owner, service advisor and technician for their extra efforts, exceptional work and commitment to professionalism within the past year.
Nominations are due Aug. 15 for the three AAPEX 2024 awards: Shop Owner of the Year, Service Advisor of the Year and Technician of the Year. To nominate service professionals who have performed above and beyond, visit Service and Repair Awards Nominations.
An independent panel of service and repair shop owners will conduct the judging and this year’s award recipients will be announced at AAPEX 2024 during the opening Keynote Breakfast. AAPEX will take place Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Thursday, Nov. 7, at The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
AAPEX established the awards in 2020 to recognize and elevate the essential services provided by shop owners, service advisors and technicians to keep the motoring public on the road.
In 2023, AAPEX Shop Owner of the Year was presented to Roy Foster, owner, Roy Foster’s Automotive, Reno, Nev. Service Advisor of the Year was awarded to Greg Damon, general manager, Sparks Tire & Auto, St. Charles, Mo., while AAPEX Technician of the Year was presented to Michael Miller, master technician, CarMax West Sahara, Las Vegas, Nev.
